What containers is this Chocolate Shakeology Mug Cake on the 21 Day Fix?
We count it as 1.5 Red. If you add a tablespoon of nut butter, you’ll want to count that as a tablespoon and the almond milk could be 1/2 a yellow if you’re being meticulous counting. We didn’t count it though.
What You’ll Need
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 scoop Shakeology
- 1 tbs sweetener of your choice {optional}
- dash of salt
- 1 egg
- 3 tbs unsweetened almond milk or water
- Optional – nut butter of your choice (We used American Dream Nut Butter)
How to Make the Best Chocolate Shakeology Mug Cake
In a microwave safe mug, mix your Shakeology, baking powder, salt, and optionalsweetener.
Once it’s mixed, add in your egg and 3 tbsp almond milk or water.
Mix until everything is wet.
You can either add in your tablespoon of nut butter now (push it into the center) or top it after like we did.
Microwave it 60 seconds!
Enjoy!
Note: We removed our cake from the mug for photos, but you can also enjoy it right inside the mug too! Yum!

I made this right now and followed your recipe to a T. But mine came out runner and didn’t cook all the way down. The top was perfect but the bottom was still gooey and runny. I even put it in for an extra 30 seconds.its still SUPER delicious! But next time I think I’ll add more shakeo and start with 1:30. Thank you!!

Thanks for letting us know on the time! Maybe our microwaves are different strengths! I need to see what mine is and update it. So glad it still turned out to be super delicious!!

Teaspoons or Tablespoons
I read it as tablespoons and it seemed runnyReply
I did Tablespoons of Almond Milk. I wonder if our microwaves may be different power-levels. I know sometimes the watts can matter when you cook things. My microwave for reference is 1000 watts. So maybe a few more sections if it’s runny? So sorry it didn’t turn out perfectly the first time!
